Soft pastel. This painting is about where I live: The laua'e (maile-scented fern) is native of Hawaii; the tikis are from the 1st people's who populated here, and the origami cranes are a symbol of long life from the Japanese influences.
Original is mounted on acid free foam board, with 2 1/2” dbl. matted off white acid free black core matting, 1" dense rowan wood dark stained framed with 1/8" non-glare acrylic glazing.
